Amoretta Virgine, from the game GrimGrimoire.

GrimGrimoire is a fantastic 2D castle defense style game by Vanillaware, which you may also recognize from my earlier Muramasa: The demon blade post. Today I’m bringing you two impromptu drinks featuring one of my favorites liqueurs. 
 
 

Amoretta (GrimGrimoire Cocktail)

Ingredients:

2oz Amaretto

1oz lemon juice

1/2 tsp powdered sugar

Optional splash of vanilla liqueur

Directions: Shake all ingredients with ice thoroughly until sugar is dissolved, pour into cocktail glass and garnish with a lemon peel.

Note: You can substitute fresh lemon sour mixture (2:1 lemon juice and simple syrup) for the lemon juice and powdered sugar.

Virgine (GrimGrimoire Mocktail)

Ingredients: 
1oz Amaretto Syrup
1oz Lemon juice
2oz Soda water or Ginger ale

Directions: Shake Amaretto Syrup and lemon juice, pour into cocktail glass and top with mixer of your choice. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
